Cindy Jury, Salem Family Resources-Success by 6 Executive Director, was recently credentialed by the State Department of Health & Human Services as a NH Early Childhood Master Professional. Jury was also named Director and Lead Teacher at The Learning Cooperative, a new parent co-op preschool operated by Salem Family Resources starting this fall.
Credentialing indicates a professional level of growth and recognizes the recipient’s qualifications and commitment to early childhood. It requires a minimum of a Masters degree in the field, plus five years’ experience in Early Childhood Education and demonstrated experience training other adults in the field. Much of this work has been accomplished through Jury’s career as director at Salem Family Resources.
The credentials meet the requirements of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), whose standards serve as the framework for high quality early care and education.
Jury has a long history of teaching and administration in the early childhood education field. She has served as Executive Director of Salem Family Resources-Success By 6 since its inception in1994.
Jury holds NH teaching certifications in both Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. She earned her BS in Education and Early Childhood Education from Lesley College (now Lesley University) and her Masters of Education at Cambridge College.
