About Salem Family Resources

Our organization began in 1994 when the United Way came to Salem community leaders with their Success By 6 initiative. The collaborative efforts of parents, educators, elected officials, business leaders, and nonprofit partners resulted in the development of programs and services designed to meet the needs of families with young children.

Salem Family Resources (SFR) is a New Hampshire incorporated non-profit and 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

Our volunteer Board of Directors represents the greater Salem area, and includes parents, community leaders, and education/social service professionals.
